Fourth Degree Exemplification - November 21, 2009


Location:
Sheraton Dover Hotel, 1570 N. DuPont Highway, Dover, Delaware

Official Dress for the Degree:
Candidates and Sir Knights must wear a black tuxedo, pleated white shirt (NO RUFFLES or WING COLLARS), black bow tie and cummerbund, plain black socks and shoes. No gloves for candidates. Active duty military, policemen and firemen may wear their formal dress uniform. All candidates will be provided with Fourth Degree social baldric and lapel pin.

Note:
It is not necessary to purchase Color Corps regalia (Sword, Cape and Chapeau).

ELIGIBILTY:
Any Third Degree member in good standing, six months after receiving the First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth degree.

Schedule of Events:
9:30 – 10:30 AM West Lobby Registration of Candidates, Pick-Up Banquet Reservations
11:00 AM Sauvignon Room Exemplification Mass (All invited)
12:00 PM Atrium West Lunch for Candidates and Sir Knights
12:30 PM La Vista [7th Floor] Ladies’ Luncheon and Program
1:30 PM Champagne Room Exemplification of the Fourth Degree
3:45 PM Hospitality Rooms Assembly Hospitality following Degree
5:15 PM Atrium West Cocktails
6:00 PM Sauvignon Room Exemplification Banquet
7:15 PM Sauvignon Room Introduction of Dignitaries and Recognition of Candidates
8:00 PM Safe Journey Home

Room Reservations:
To obtain the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree room rate of $114 (tax included ), reservations must be made with District Secretary, Kenneth H. Smith. The deadline for room reservations is October 20, 2009.

Candidates:
(All candidates should arrive in official dress for registration between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.)
• Fees: $70.00 (includes one banquet ticket, social baldric, Fourth Degree lapel pin and a certificate.
• Clergy: No fee is charged. Assemblies are asked to assume their cost of $52.00.

Banquet:
Cost: $52.00 for Sir Knights and guests.
Menu: Choice of: 1) Honey Pecan Chicken or, 2) Grilled Filet of Salmon
Entrees include house salad, chef’s vegetable and starch, warm rolls with butter, dessert, coffee, tea, ice tea.
Deadline: November 13, 2009. No refunds after this date.

Ladies’ Luncheon:
Ladies will be guests of the Master’s wife, Ann Hunter.
Menu: Sheraton Deli Buffet
Deadline: November 13, 2009

Men’s Lunch:
Candidates and Sir Knights will be guests of the Master, N. Joseph Hunter for lunch.
Menu: A Classic Turkey Club sandwich will be served

Candidates submit reservation form with application to applicable assembly.
